Weaving Tides is a puzzle adventure game developed by and Austria game studio Follow the Feathers. It is a single player adventure type game on Nintendo Switch. With its beautiful game graphics and cozy game playing style, it will be the next noticeable game in 2020. So, lets have a first look on how interesting this game is:

storyline

Weaving Tides takes place in a world that full of magic and textile. You, in order to save this undone world, making friends with the amazing flying carpet dragons – the Weavers. And together with your Weavers, you are going to set on a journey to explore ancient dungeons, solve puzzles, challenge quirky creatures and unravel the great mysteries of a long forgotten past!

How to Play

The main idea of this game is to hop between the woven landscape. And as you move, the Weaver tail acts as a thread in order to stitch the broken world back together, or to combat the enemies.

The game main objectives are:

  • Dive smoothly into an enchanting, woven world and reveal secret pathways.
  •  Stitch and cut your way through the textile landscape and wrap up your foes using your Weaver’s unique stitching abilities.
  • Solve tricky textile puzzles which are scattered across the world.
  • Conquer Zelda-like dungeons but beware of their fearsome guardians!

Beautiful Graphics and Sounds

Thanks for the effort of the game development team. The game is having a gorgeous and detailed graphics design together with fantastics soundtracks and effects. Lets have a look on its game play demo:

Extra - Playground Mode

Other than playing the puzzle, you can also enjoy the game by using your creativity. This Playgrounds mode allow you to create your own digital artwork using your stitch techniques and the pattern you get from the game play. Of course you can share your master piece to the Nintendo Switch Online community.

Current Status

Up to May 2020, the game is still under development and will soon be available. Before having the game on your hand, you can first visit their official youtube channel or their kicker page for more details.

Please be reminded that this game is only available on Switch on-line and there will be no physical game card. So once it released, you definitely need to check out the Nintendo Switch Online and have it download!

NBA has announced the suspension of the 2019-2020 season due to COVID-19. Until now there is still do not have a concrete plan on weather it should continue or end. Lets check out some funny ideas on how NBA should continue:

2-on-2

In many countries, social gathering is not completely banned, and a maximum of 4 people is the suggested public gathering size. Instead of the regular 5-on5 game, NBA can possibly continue as a 2-on-2 game (totally 4 people). It will be less entertaining and to boost the excitement, they should consider adding some SFX effect. Such as fire effect to burn the net, make the player to jump extremely high, or the secret big head mode like the NBA JAM.

Outdoor 3-on-3

Experiments had shown coronavirus dies fast when it is exposed to the direct sunlight. So as long as we can find an open court with plenty of sunshine, we can continue our game.
Half court 3-on-3 sounds cool and of course wearing mask to protect the players. Together with the tight schedule of NBA, our players need to make sure that they drink enough Gatorade to prevent dehydration and apply the sponsored sunscreen to prevent sun burn.

Full Metal Gear

Playing the game with protective gear will be an ultimate solutions. It can prevent the spread of the virus by completely covering the player. But the US government need to ensure they have enough protective gear in every States (never reuse the protective gear!).

TV Game

How about asking our players to stay safe at home and play virtual game together for the 2020 champion? 

You know what, in Hong Kong, the football league – Hong Kong Premier League really announced that they end this year season and instead they asked the football players to join a electronic sports championship of playing Football PES 2020.

May be we really can have this NBA on-line game competition in NBA 2K20. As this game has most of the players with the stats close to reality, but, I am afraid all the player will just choose LeBorn or Harden in the game.

AI

Tell you the truth. Actually most of the people working in the office do not have a chance to see the live but only have to rely on the texts of NBA.com. They have to secretly keep refreshing the play-by-play because their boss is just right behind them, not to mention how expensive the NBA League Pass is. So actually NBA can simply make use of AI to simulate all the matches and then publish the plays onto the NBA.com. Believe that two-thirds of the World cannot figure out the different.

Of course, all the above ideas are JUST FOR FUN. We sincerely hope the outbreak end and NBA can resume normal very soon.

The Hidden Character in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

If you are a big fan of Marvel or Avengers you must playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order on the Nintendo Switch (keep playing to reach level 300, collect all the character skin, gather powerful Isotope-8). Recently the game had released the DLC expansion 3 – Shadow of Doom. This new content focuses on the Fantastic Four, as well as Doctor Doom.

And this expansion has a secret character – the mighty Thanos with his Infinity Glove!

Thanos (Infinity) is the last hidden character of Marvel Ultimates Alliance 3

He is considered the most powerful character in the game (I would pick Star-lord and Doctor Doom). Having all the infinity stones his abilities are fabulous. Such as trap the enemies with the Space Stone, absorb their HP and then hit them with the Reality Stone power; or a laser beam to damage and stun massive enemies with the Mind Stone.

Having all the six infinity stones, Thanos cannot equip any Iso-8 🙁

The cons of using him is that he cannot equip any Iso-8 and he do not perform synergy attack with other characters. Also, all of his abilities take time to increase the power, where in the intense battle, it does not allow you to just stand and hold the button to boost your ability. And he cannot fly, why? 🙂

To unlock Thanos (Infinity), you must purchase the game expansion pass and complete the latest story mode in difficulty: Ultimate.
